LAPT8 Uruguay: Dr. Doom and the speedy bubbleALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!

Mario Lopez skyrocketed to the top of the counts during bubble stage of the tournament.

After eliminating a few players, the medical doctor is now up to about 500,000, which is nearly the amount of chips the rest of his table has combined.

In one elimination, there was about 20,000 in the pot on a J♠6♥8♣2♠ board.

Camila Alvarez checked from the big blind and Lopez bet 12,600. Alvarez called and an A♣ came on the river.

Alvarez checked again and Lopez moved all-in.

Alvarez only had about 40,000 behind and thought until someone called the clock. With six seconds left on the clock, Alvarez threw in the rest of her chips for a call.

Lopez turned over 6♠6♣ for a set of sixes and Alvarez was out of the tournament.

Aside from putting Lopez up to about 380,000, the elimination left Renata Teixeira as the last woman in the field.

Lopez took down the following hand with a large bet on the river and then eliminated another player the hand after that.

Lopez raised to 6,200 from the cutoff and the big blind called.

The flop came 7♦9♥T♥ and the big blind check-raised all-in for 35,900 after Lopez bet 5,800. Lopez thought for a few seconds, called and turned over T♣4♦ for top pair. The big blind shook his head and showed K♠9♠ for second pair.

The turn brought an A♠ and the 7♥ came on the river to bring us closer to the bubble.

The hand put Lopez up to about 450,000 and by the time the bubble burst, the doctor had passed the 500,000 mark.

The bubble was far from arduous and burst on the first hand of hand-for-hand play.

One of our bubble bursters this event was Jorge Breda, who's smiling again now that he's back near the top of the counts with about 400,000.

Breda started the day second in chips, dipped early on but is now back in second place.

In the quick bubble, Juan Etcheverry raised to 8,500 and Breda re-raised to 20,000. Claudio Aranibar called all-in for 17,000 and the flop came K♣T♠2♦ after Etcheverry called.

Players checked and a 4♦ came on the turn. Breda bet 12,000 and Etcheverry folded.

Aranibar turned over A♣J♣ while Breda was in the lead with Q♠Q♦.

Aranibar was hoping for an ace or a queen, but the river brought a 6♥ instead.

Aranibar would've been the bubble, but someone else was eliminated seconds later in the same hand.

Nicolau Villa-lobos moved all-in for 42,500 on a 3♠6♦Q♠J♦K♥ board and Amos Ben called.

Villa-lobos turned over A♣7♠ for ace-high while Ben tabled Q♦9♦ for a pair of queens.

Villa-lobos and Aranibar split the 39th place payday of $5,360 and the remaining 38 players are now guaranteed at least that much apiece.

About half the level remains and when it's done, players will be on a 75-minute dinner break.

UK & Ireland PokerNews Round-Up: Busy Live Scene, Pokerfest Begins & MoreALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

Despite the fact that the 2015 World Series of Poker Europe is in full swing over in Berlin, Germany, the UK & Ireland live poker circuit has been rather busy this past week.

In London, at PokerStars LIVE at The Hippodrome, a familiar face walked away with a £28,300 first-place prize in the UKIPT Super Series Main Event. Usually you'd find Dale Garrad at live poker events promoting Main Event Travel and helping customers find a bed for the night, but this time he was on the other side of the felt competing in the £550 buy-in event. It turned out to be a great decision as Garrad walked away with top honors and the winner's trophy.

While Garrad was busy bossing his table, Benjamin Preece was writing his way into poker's history books by winning the inaugural partypoker Grand Prix Poker Tour. Preece outlasted a field of more than 3,500 players in the £60+£10 buy-in event and scooped a cool £35,000 for his victory at Dusk Till Dawn. The tour now heads to Chelsea F.C's iconic stadium, Stamford Bridge.

Currently playing out is the 2015 Full Tilt International Poker Open (IPO) in Dublin, Ireland. Day 1a saw 149 enter the $250 buy-in tournament and 43 progress, with Alan White topping the chip counts, while Day 1b was busier, attracting 224 players to the Regency Airport Hotel, and the 63 survivors being led by James Cusack.

Two further opening flights take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23 and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 .

Keeping with the live poker world and the news that Dusk Till Dawn and Aspers Casino, Stratford are gearing up to host the upcoming World Poker Tour (WPT) UK festival. The two Day 1s of the £1 million guaranteed WPT500 UK will take place at Aspers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, with several online days planned at partypoker. In all, more than £2.5 million is set to be awarded by the time the festival draws to a close, and the PokerNews Live Reporting team will be on hand to bring you coverage of both the £5,250 High Roller and the £2,200 WPT UK Main Event.

Into the online poker world now, which saw the week end on a real high for Nayeem "dancingbudha" Syed thanks to a third-place finish in the PokerStars Sunday Million. This impressive result netted Syed a cool $91,046.16, which is his largest cash to date. Syed was joined at the final table by fellow Brit Rhys "floppinhel" Jones, who fell in sixth place for $35,932.00.

There are more opportunities than normal to win big this coming Sunday thanks tothe $2.5 million partypoker Pokerfest. The first 12 of 80 scheduled events are set to run on October 25, with the highlight of those 12 events being the $250,000 guarantee which costs $250 to buy into.

Online poker has been going well for Stephen Woodhead, who enjoyed a hat trick of victories this past week, wins that helped push him up the UK online poker rankings. Woodhead took down two $215 no-limit hold'em turbo events at PokerStars for combined scores of $12,981, and also claimed the $6,400 first-place prize in the Full Tilt Fat Tuesday.

Last on the list for the UK & Ireland PokerNews Round-Up is the news that two of the UK's biggest bookmakers have been struggling of late due to "unfavorable sporting results" and the relatively new Point of Consumption Tax. William Hill revealed a 39% drop in profits for the third quarter of 2015, while Ladbrokes' profits slumped by 57% during the same period. It's a difficult time for British bookmakers right now with much consolidation occurring in the industry.

New Macau Boss Returns Uncertainty to Casinos FutureALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

A new chief executive running Macau for China means an unsure future for casinos and gambling in the area, just as accelerated growth was returning to the gaming industry.

Just as growth was returning to Macau after moves by the Chinese government had slowed the gambling zone's economic boom, a new leader for the former Portugese colony brings uncertainty regarding sustaining the recent rise. Fernando Chui took over as Macau chief executive today, with orders from Chinese superiors to rein in growth spurts and find other means for expansion than just casino gambling.

Macau had seen double-digit growth for the first few years following the opening of its gambling market, as major operators such as Las Vegas Sands, MGM Mirage, and Wynn arrived to compete with the established Stanley Ho empire. But Chinese officials, worried that out-of-control growth was creating social disorder, put limits on visas of mainland citizens looking to travel to China's only legal gambling area.

Recent easing of restrictions led to new growth this year, and the US casino operators held or planned IPOs on the Hong Kong exchange to raise money to continue development and expansion. Now, Chui's ascension has gaming industry analysts watching carefully to see what policies are enacted toward the gambling venues.

"After 10 years, Mr. Chui's job is to stabilize growth," Macau political expert Larry So told the Wall Street Journal.

According to the Journal, gambling creates three-fourths of government revenue in Macau, and October gaming income set an all-time record at $1.59 billion. But rumblings from China, which would love to draw more foreign money while capping mainland Chinese gambling, have included a potential limit on gaming tables in Macau and a raise in age limit from 18 to 21.

As Macau attempts to control corruption and stress on infrastructure and labor pools caused by overly rapid growth, new competition  prepares to aim at Macau's customer base, beginning with the opening of Las Vegas Sands' project in Singapore early in 2010.

Las Vegas Online Casinos Have Finally ArrivedALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

The opening of an online casino carrying the Caesars brand, owned by Harrah's Entertainment, signifies vast changes to come in the world of Internet gambling.

Harrah's Entertainment officially began the era of online casinos operated by the Las Vegas resort giants as it opened Caesars Casino Online. Harrah's had acknowledged it was preparing to enter the online gambling market in the last few months, as it hired experienced online gaming executives like PartyGaming's Mitch Garber and looked to compete overseas via the Internet.

Caesars Casino Online does not accept US players, nor will it take residents from Germany. It can be expected that Harrah's will be careful to avoid even the slightest perception of disobeying US gambling policies, as this operation is seen throughout the gaming industry as preparation to enter the US market whenever laws change.

Harrah's has chosen Dragonfish to supply software for the Caesars site. The selection caught some casino observers offguard, as many online players find the Dragonfish selection of games to be inferior in quantity and design to other software companies, such as CryptoLogic and Microgaming.

Patrons of Internet casinos reporting on messageboards say the games available are the same as 888.com, the parent company of Dragonfish, and that players excited about playing at slots offered at land casinos will have to wait for further development.

Still, the beginning of Internet gambling service by a giant land resort-casino operator heralds a significant change in online gaming. Although the product may not yet reflect the revolutionary changes signalled by the opening of this online casino, the fight to be the best prepared for US licensing of Internet gambling just got much more intense.

Anti-Gambling Lawmakers Push for Online Casino Ban StartALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!

US lawmakers Jon Kyl and Spencer Bachus asked the Treasury Department to ignore other legislators and continue apace with the implementation of the UIGEA online casino ban.

US Senator Jon Kyl and Representative Spencer Bachus asked the Treasury to ignore a request by 17 fellow Congressmen to delay implementation of the UIGEA online casino ban. The UIGEA rules are scheduled to take effect December 1st, but lawmakers had banded together to ask that legal remedies that might make the matter moot be given another year to play out.

Kyl and Bachus are noted opponents of all forms of gambling. Kyl has led the fights to uphold disingenuous laws illegalizing sports betting, thereby serving the powerful NFL lobby, while Bachus misquoted a survey to astonishingly claim a quarter of teens who try online gambling commit suicide.

The two downplay the request by Barney Frank and 16 other members of the House Financial Services Committee to suspend the online casino ban implementation, spinning it so that they emphasize the 17 are of a committee of 71. They make no such note that they are an even smaller number of two.

"Delaying the compliance date serves no interest except that of the Internet gambling enterprises that have long evaded American gambling laws," says the letter from Kyl and Bachus. Neither comments on the special interests involved in their rejection of online gambling, including the NFL and the Christian Coalition.

Frank and his group say that legislative actions are being considered which would alter the law, including Frank's bill to regulate online casinos, and ask for time to resolve the issue before implementing a problematic prohibition. Kyl and Bachus wish to press the UIGEA into implemented law before reconsideration can occur.

Cramer Reverses Self on Casino StocksALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

CNBC financial personality Jim Cramer, who has warned against expecting any bounceback from the recession by Las Vegas casino operators, said Macau plans may lift Las Vegas Sands and Wynn Resorts.

This week, stock forecaster Jim Cramer finally relented a bit in his negative position on casino and gaming stocks. After having bemoaned the state of the gambling industry in general, and Las Vegas operators in particular, the CNBC financial star touted both Las Vegas Sands and Wynn Resorts on his popular show, "Mad Money."

As recently reported on Online Casino Advisory, both companies are applying to issue initial public offerings on the Hong Kong market. Each company has examined ways to use assets held in the gaming enclave of Macau into increased liquidity.

Sands, in particular, has looked beyond the IPO to also consider selling minority ownership in Macau properties to private equity firms, and discussed partnership in Far East assets, including its upcoming Singapore casino.

Cramer said on his show that, while he still has reservations about any quick Las Vegas turnaround in earnings or revenue, Macau may be much quicker to bounce back.

The investment expert advised listeners that Wynn goes into any IPO in much better shape than Las Vegas Sands. He noted that Wynn has a superior position, with cash already on hand.
