Pratyush Buddiga has won the newest high roller at the international tournament circuit, popping out on top of a 165-entry field to capture the 2016 European Poker Tour Barcelona €25,000 single day no-limit hold’em high roller. For the win the yankee poker pro earned €690,725 ($780,011 USD) and 1,092 Card Player Player of the Year points.

Buddiga came into the general table of nine in third chip position, with a variety of tough opponents remaining including Alex Komaromi (6th – $244,363), Steve O’Dwyer (5th – $315,157) and Tobias Reinkemeier (4th – $392,845).

From that time at the final three agreed to all move all-in preflop every hand until a winner is set. Buddiga won the primary flip along with his 85 besting Shatilov’s 65 and Yan’s KJ. At the next hand Buddiga flopped trip nines and left Yan needing running cards to outlive. They never materialized and he was eliminated in second place.
