Early in the summertime of 2016 Ryan D’Angelo took down the 2016 World Series of Poker $1,500 no-limit deuce-to-seven lowball event, topping a field of 279 players to win his first WSOP gold bracelet and the $92,338 first-place prize.

D’Angelo is understood primarily as a no-limit hold’em tournament player, although he does have big online titles in other games including World Championship of Online Poker wins in pot-limit Omaha and eight-game mix. D’angelo has played many of the game online, and though he admitted that he was just a little surprised that it ws the format through which he won his first bracelet, he does have a lot of experience with the sport some check with as ‘Kansas City lowball.’

“I love this game,” D’Angelo said shortly after winning the title. “I never would have guessed that my first bracelet would are available this game, because I play ten no-limit hold’em events for each another game. I BELIEVE almost a connection to this manner of poker… It’s so pure as it is purely two streets, before the draw and after the draw. It’s just ‘Do they've it or don’t they.’ It’s all metagame and leveling.”

The game has seen a resurgence in recent times as increasingly more poker fans wish to branch out to games rather then no-limit hold’em. For players just coming into the sport a very powerful thing they are able to do to enhance is to play and gain experience.
