Ian Johns has won the 2016 World Series of Poker $10,000 limit hold’em championship, capturing his second bracelet of the year and the $290,635 first-place prize. John had won the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event just ten days earlier on the Rio. The 31-year-old poker pro hailing from Seattle, WA now has three total WSOP title to his name along with over $1 million in earnings on the series.

“I’m ecstatic," Johns told WSOP.com reporters after winning his third bracelet. "It’s to this point out there, I don’t even play in that many tournaments. I never dreamed of it. I never even considered it.”

Johns came into the overall day in second chip position a number of the remaining ten players.
