iPoker Network Revamps Its Tournament Schedule | PokerNews
Tournament poker is among the most enjoyable formats of the game, that is why every online poker room worth their salt has an intensive tournament schedule. Players who frequent the sites at the busy iPoker Network have seen extensive changes to the tournament schedule there, including revamped structures, and new formats.
At least €100,000 is guaranteed across all tournaments on a daily basis at the iPoker Network. Sites corresponding to bet365, Betfair, Ladbrokes, and William Hill are already running the brand new-look multi-table tournaments.
To help promote the new schedule, there's an MTT Missions promotion running at the network, which provides folks that play in three tournaments in a week, access to a €500 all-in freeroll, or a €2,500 freeroll dependent on the dimensions of the buy-ins for the trio of tournaments.
Although the changes are already in force, full details of these changes are yet to be released, but by heading to the tournament lobby of bet365, you will find an increased selection of payout places, more multi-entry tournaments, more knockout tournaments, and less freezeouts.
A thread at the Two Plus Two forum bemoans the truth that rebuys, add-ons, and the knockout are all now raked. Raking rebuys is something that PokerStars also does, despite players within the poker tournament community being against it.
The tournament web site on William Hill boasts of “over €5 million in guaranteed prizes every month” although the internet sites of alternative iPoker Network sites similar to Ladbrokes, a figure of €3 million guaranteed is displayed.
