China's Zhi Lin wins ACOP Platinum Series XIIINO Deposit bonus $43

Last week, the 'PokerStars LIVE Macau' poker site completed ACOP Platinum Series XIII attracting festival totals of 782 players and greater than HK$2.6 million in prize money.

China's Zhi Lin defeated the 239-player Main Event field to take home the week's feature title along side HK$258,810 in prize money. In total, 27 player cashed for a share of the HK$1,078,010 prize pool -- including Number one. ranked Quan Zhou and reigning Asia Player of the Year (APOY) Alan Lau who finished in 16th and 24th place respectively.

The previous Platinum Series winner, Jack Wu, also made another deep run finishing in 14th place.

In the end, it was Venezuela's Jose Rivas who would stand between Lin and his first live tournament victory. With a 2-to-1 chip advantage, the general hand arrived not up to an hour into heads up play.

Lin, with 1.5m chips, min-raised pre-flop to 60k and Rivas moved all-in for his remaining 866k. Call.

The board ran 2♥2♠4♣4♠7♦ giving the 34-year old Lin a whole house to deliver the overall knockout blow as his corner of friends screamed in delight.

Wayne Wei Yi Zhang won the Superstack event - closing the distance between him and top APOY ranked Quan Zhou to only 412 points. Zhang finished No. 10 at the APOY rankings last season and was one in every of most consistent performers at the PokerStars Asia circuit over the last 16 months.

2016 Macau Millions champion Alvan Zheng moved up one spot to No. 3 at the Asia Player of the Year leaderboard after a runner-up finish within the 10K NLH event.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Benny Lai won the $3,000 NLH event - his second tournament title of the season - to enhance from No. 6 to No. 4.
