WSOP 2015: Daniel Negreanu headed to Day 6 of Main Event
^

This just got officially interesting.

Yes, the WSOP is always interesting, and yes, there has been many a good story come out of the Main Event, but it's been a long, long damned time since anyone has seen Daniel Negreanu on Day 6 of the WSOP. Tomorrow we'll see that very thing.

Negreanu finished the day with 3,620,000 chips. The average stack among the final 69 players is 2.75 million.

Negreanu offered a rare understatement: "This is fun."

The last time Negreanu got this deep in a Main Event was 14 years ago. In 2001, he made it all the way to 11th place. He's cashed since then, but this is the first time since 2001 that he's made it this deep.

While our focus will turn entirely to Negreanu tomorrow, we can't let the night pass without congratulating one of our newest Team Pros, Aditya Agarwal, who tonight scored his best-ever WSOP finish. Agarwal came in 71st after losing an all-in with pocket threes versus ace-king. The score earned him $96,445.

Now, it's time for a quick rest before going back for Day 6 on Monday. Negreanu and the rest of the field will return tomorrow at noon.
