Grosvenor Casinos were pleased to announce another record-breaking turnout on the 2016 Goliath main event in Coventry in early August. The tournament drew a fantastic 5,232 entries, which was over 1,000 entries greater than that they had in 2015.
In total, 3,168 players publish the £120 buy-in and there have been 2,064 rebuys, making a prize pool of £523,200 which greater than doubled the £250,000 guarantee. Within the end, the title went to Vamshi Vandanapu, who picked up £62,750 after a deal was made during three-handed play. Robbie Richmond and Cristian Popescu each earned £50,000 for finishing in second and third place.
